Questions people ask us first
How long does it take?
The kit ships the same or next working day, free. Netherlands and Belgium: it's with you in 1 to 2 days. Elsewhere in Europe 3 to 5 days, US and Canada about two weeks. You make the print whenever you like, there is no deadline. Once your print arrives in our studio, your piece is finished in 1 to 2 weeks.
Will it work on my dog? Or my cat?
Yes. The press itself takes 1 to 2 seconds. You mix the two parts, which takes a couple of minutes, and the moment the putty touches the nose is over before they notice. The kit holds material for 5 to 8 attempts, so a first try that doesn't come out well costs you nothing, and if you still run short we send fresh material for free. Cats work just as well as dogs. Noses give the most detail; paws are possible but come out rougher.
How do I send the print back, and what does it cost?
In the Netherlands and Belgium a prepaid return label is in the kit. Outside NL and BE you post it back yourself to our studio; it's a small, light parcel, and the card in the kit gives you the exact address and, outside the EU, the exact customs wording so nothing gets taxed on the way. The print is sturdy once set, it travels fine.
Do you ship to my country?
Shipping is free everywhere we deliver: the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and most of Europe. Outside the EU, local import tax on the finished piece is charged by your own customs, not by us. A country missing at checkout? Email us, we often can still do it.
I have two pets. Can they go on one piece?
Yes, two prints on one piece is €50 extra, and the Bandring has the most room for two side by side. One kit covers both animals. The other way around works too: one print, several pieces. We keep every print in our archive, so a second ring or a pendant for someone else can be cast from the same nose later, without a new kit.
How do I know my ring size?
There's a ring sizer in the kit with a card to note your size. You send it back with the print, so you don't need to know your size when you order.
Silver or gold?
Both are solid, made from recycled precious metal and finished by hand. 925 silver comes with a rhodium layer for shine and protection; 14kt gold takes a little longer because of the polishing. Gold is available on every piece as the upgrade next to silver.
Can I give it as a gift, or make the print now and choose the piece later?
Yes to both. For a gift, the kit arrives first and the print can be made at any time; there's no deadline. Want the print now and the piece later? Order the kit here.
What if it doesn't come out the way I hoped?
We look at every print ourselves when it arrives, you don't need to send a photo. If a print isn't usable we contact you before making anything. If you're unhappy with the finished piece we always find a solution: a fix, or casting it again.

Which ring size should I order?
You don't need to know your size. Every kit includes a ring sizer and a selection card — measure at home and note your size when you mail the imprint back.
What if the imprint doesn't come out well?
The kit holds material for 5 to 8 imprints, so there is room to practice! You pick the best one. We inspect every imprint at the workshop before casting. If it is not good enough, we tell you and send fresh material, free.
Is it safe for my pet?
Yes. The putty is pet-safe. The press itself takes 1 to 2 seconds, most pets barely notice (but a treat always helps)
How long does it take?
The kit ships out within 1 business day. You capture the imprint whenever it suits you, it doesn't age. Once it is back at the workshop, casting takes 1–2 weeks. We keep you personally updated throughout the whole process 💙
How do I send the imprint back?
Return packaging is included in the kit. The hardened imprint is sturdy and travels well - regular post to our workshop in the Netherlands is all it takes.
An imprint doesn't age. If your pet is elderly or ill, capture the imprint now - decide on the jewelry whenever you're ready.
